Our Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System supports all Panasonic
7000, 7200, and 7400 series telephones, as well as single-line phones. The
fully digital KX-TD500 has many time-saving features and is the perfect match
for easy integration with a Panasonic Voice Processing System. With this
affordable breakthrough in call management, growing business can now easily
expand at their own rate.
Configuration
The modular design of the Panasonic KX-TD500 allows you to expand from 8 phones
and 8 lines to as many as 448 extensions and 192 CO lines by adding expansion
cards (512 ports max). The system can be installed in a one, two, or three
shelf configuration, providing economical expansion from 192 ports (1 cabinet),
to 384 ports (2 cabinets), to 512 ports (3 cabinets).
Non-Blocking Architecture
There's a dial tone waiting for each phone that is connected to the
system-even during the busiest times of the day.
Universal Ports and Card Slots
The ingenious design of the KX-TD500 by Panasonic allows you to maximize the
use of each cabinet. Universal slots accommodate any type of card (CO,
Station, T1, etc.). So you can expand your system at your own rate while keeping
upgrading costs to a minimum. And all of the Panasonic KX-T7000, 7200, and
7400 series telephones will work with the KX-TD500 system, eliminating the need
to change the cabling.
T1 Service
The KX-TD500 system's T1 service, which allows a pair of wires to be
electronically divided into 24 channels, eliminates the need of running separate
lines and provides an extremely cost-effective way to connect the system to the
telephone company central office.
Direct Inward Dial (DID)
The Panasonic KX-TD500 can be connected to Direct Inward Dial (DID) CO lines
provided by the telephone company. With Direct In Dial (DID) service,
calls can be set up to bypass the attendant and directly ring through at the
desired extension. And when the user is on another call, the Whisper Off Hook
Call Announce (WOHCA) feature can be used by the person answering the user's
calls to privately announce an incoming call through the handset, rather than a
public announcement via the telephone speaker.
Networking
You can connect several KX-TD500 systems to make a PBX network that functions as
a single Call Management System through T1 lines. PBX networking offers
you various useful functions - especially in the business scene.
Toll Restriction
The Panasonic Super Hybrid System can be programmed to prohibit unauthorized
outgoing long distance calls by preventing certain extensions from accessing
specific area codes/exchange codes.
Automatic Route Selection
Helps reduce long distance costs by automatically routing outgoing calls to the
most cost-efficient long distance carrier within the user's network based on the
time of the day, day of the week, and call destination tables.
Station Message Detail Recording
This provides you with a printed record of outgoing and/or incoming calls
from every extension to help you control telephone expenses and help reduce
telephone abuse.
Enhanced Caller ID
The KX-TD500 system can display the caller phone number and name
(if provided by the local phone company) simultaneously on Panasonic digital
display phones. Up to 30 answered calls can be logged by the user at each
extension, with unanswered calls logged automatically. Logged calls can be
called back by going off-hook while viewing the INFO screen and pushing the
redial key.
Uniform Call Distribution (UCD)
Evenly distributes incoming calls to operators or agents logged into the group,
such as required by a travel office, customer support center, etc. Four
different outgoing messages can be recorded and played in a cycle, and a
separate extension can be assigned for overflow calls.
Direct Inward System Access (DISA)
With the optional KX-T96191 DISA card, the Panasonic KX-TD500 system allows
an outside caller to access specific system features without operator
assistance, as if the caller had an extension in the system. The outside
caller can have direct access to the following features: single digit
access to extensions, outside party calling, intercom calling to an extension,
modem (for remote system administration), external pager (for TAFAS), phantom
extension and extension group. Additionally, callers can be required to
dial a security code to access extensions of the system's outside lines.
Call Forwarding
Incoming intercom and transferred calls to your extension can easily be
forwarded to you outside the office. You can now forward your calls to
your cell phone, another location, or even to your home. Calls can reach
you anywhere in the world, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Another great
feature is "follow-me" programming, which allows you to remotely set Call
Forwarding from another phone within your organization, so call to your
extension will reach you while you roam.
Phantom Extensions
Any outside call or internal transfer can be sent to a Phantom Extension, which
will ring every phone with that extension button. This is an excellent way for
sales staff, technical support staff and other groups to identify calls intended
for their response. Up to 448 phantom extensions can be assigned.
Ring Groups
After a call is answered, it can be transferred to the appropriate group or
department where all the phones will ring. Up to eight ring groups can be
created with an unlimited number of extensions in each group. Users can
temporarily log themselves in and out of the group.
Account Codes
Account codes can help manage your telephone expenses by identifying
incoming and outgoing external call for accounting and billing purposes.
The account code is applied to the Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR).
